David Ericson has been serving in the healthcare field for 40 years. He served as an Air Force medical service technician and as a paramedic/paramedic instructor. He worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a critical care nurse while attending physician assistant school. He graduated from the Trevecca Nazarene University Physician Assistant program in 1994. He received the Director’s Award for leadership. Serving as a National Service Health Corps Scholar, he opened a homeless clinic there as well as seeing patients at the parent community health center. He served as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistant program. He provided primary care services for 6 years.
David has been in Otolaryngology practice since 2000. He has worked in several clinics with numerous surgeons, benefiting from their training and expertise in multiple areas of Otolaryngology and Allergy.
He joined North Bay ENT in September 2019. Along with clinical practice, he guest-lectures at CCBC/Towson Physician Assistant program. He provides a 3-hour survey of Otolaryngology to each class. David was just invited to provide similar lectures to the doctoral nursing students at the University of Maryland. He was also invited to serve as a preceptor for the doctoral nursing program.
